The Minister of Communication, Rene Emmanuel Sadi joined the women from his ministerial department to commentate concluding activities marking the 38th  edition of the international women’s day celebrated under the theme:  “An inclusive digital world: innovation and technologies for gender equality”.

The Minister of Communication congratulated the ladies for representing the ministry in all earmarked activities for this year’s celebration. He reassured the women that  he will ameliorate their status as he is aware of their daily challenges . Read more

 

IWD 2023 : MINCOM ladies participate in sporting walk

Women from the central service of the Ministry of Communication joined their counterparts from other public and para-public  administrative services for a sporting walk as part of activities marking the 38th Edition of the International Women’s Day. The sporting walk organized by the Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and the Family was to enable the women.

keep fit. The over 500 women were cheered up by passers-by and onlookers as they walked past the streets of Yaounde. The sporting walk that kicked-off at few minutes after 7:00.a.m on Saturday 4th March, 2023 took the following itinerary: May 20th Boulevard- the Cathedral – Mfoundi Market – Elig Essono- Etoa Meki- Nlongkak and back to the May 20th Boulevard. The ladies from the Ministry of Communication then joined their peers for a stretch-out session before retiring for the day. It should be noted that the sporting walk was led by the Minister of Women’s Empowerment and the Family, Professor Marie-Thérèse Abena Ondoa. Read more
