The Cameroon cotton industry (CICAM) has made available in the market its protective face mask since May 07, 2020, intended to curb the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). It has added to many other masks which before now are in circulation. But the difference with the CICAM face mask is clear. According to GUY Alain MULEMA,
Since the announcement of the first cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) by the government in May 5th 2020, many lives have been lost. The number of infected cases has risen to 2.579. But given the relentless efforts by which the government and health officials are putting to arrest its propagation and kick off the pandemic out of the country, a lot of progress to this effect has been made.
