The Minister of Communication, René Emmanuel Sadi, on November 28 supervised the signing of a public-private partnership deal between the National Printing Press, represented by its Director General, Oyono Bika Nolasque, and the Ivorian Group Impact Palmarès, represented by its President, Giresse Tella, to modernize the national printing house.

The main aim of the deal is to bring the National Printing Press up to international standards by automating production, introducing digital traceability, enhancing security against counterfeiting, and up-skilling of staff.
Over the next 20 years, Impact Palmarès will take charge of the financing, reconstruction, digitalization, and operation of the infrastructure, whose critical state, marred by outdated infrastructure, obsolete machines, and depleted treasury, among others, threatened the continuity of the structure.
The first phase of the agreement involves building modern infrastructure, installing high-performance machines, and fully digitalizing processes. This will be followed by operation and maintenance, during which Impact Palmarès will ensure the ramp-up, document security, and economic optimization of the site, while paying non-tax revenues to the State.
It’s worth noting that in 2024, Impact Palmarès secured a ten-year contract for the management and security of electronic visas, including building a data center and standardizing consular services.
