CORONA VIRUS: CAMEROON BEGINS REPATRIATING CITIZENS STRANDED ABROAD. The government of Cameroon has made public a schedule for the second phase of the repatriation of over six hundred Cameroonians stranded abroad due to shutdown as a result of the deadly corona virus pandemic. The presidential decree was released on April 23, 2020. According to the schedule, these citizens will be repatriated from different parts of the world in five groups. Monsieur le directeur général, le chef de l’Etat vient de rendre publiques 19 mesures d’assouplissement des mesures de restrictions édictées dans le cadre de la lutte contre le Covid-19. Une dizaine d’entre elles sont d’ordre fiscal. Votre administration a sans doute été associée à l’élaboration de ces mesures, quels sont les préalables qui ont conduit à leur validation ?

Les mesures fiscales figurent effectivement en bonne place dans le dispositif de soutien aux entreprises et aux ménages, décidé par le Président de la République, Son Excellence Paul BIYA, et rendu public par le Premier Ministre, Chef du Gouvernement.
