The Ministry of External Relations was host to an experience-sharing workshop on September 23, 2026 under the theme “Telemedicine in the Service of Equitable Access to Care: The Experience of the Recover Foundation in Africa.”
It was organised in partnership with the “Recover Foundation in Africa”, a civil society organisation working in health cooperation in Cameroon since 2007, which aims to sustainably strengthen the capacities of health facilities and their staff to improve access to quality care for people, especially the most vulnerable.
The workshop was chaired by the Secretary General of the Ministry of External Relations, Mr. Chinmoun OUMAROU on behalf of the Minister of external Relations, H.E MBELLA MBELLA, in the presence of the Ambassador of Spain to Cameroon, H.E Juan-Pedro PÉREZ-GÓMEZ DELAUNAY
The Secretary General appreciated the initiative, noting that the platform will facilitate patient consultation, especially in rural areas, thereby improving access to healthcare.
