Preparations for the 15th edition of the Government Action Fair (SAGO) are gathering momentum, with several innovations announced during the first preparatory meeting held on March 11, 2026, at the Ministry of Communication (MINCOM) in Yaoundé.

The meeting brought together representatives of Cabinet Mon Communicateur,the Government representative in the SAGO project, led by Patrice Assiga , and members of the media.
The session was chaired by the Secretary General of MINCOM, Félix Zogo, who commended the strong participation of journalists and highlighted the crucial role of the press in ensuring the visibility and success of the event.
“During this working session, we will review the report containing the recommendations of the the 14th edition, access the progress made and chart a way forward. We will formulate new proposals that will be submitted for the minister’s consideration”_ he stated
Among the key innovations announced for this year’s edition are the creation of a “Village of the 10 Regions,” which will showcase the development projects, cultural heritage, and specificities of Cameroon’s ten regions, and a “Local Consumption Village” aimed at promoting Made-in-Cameroon products and encouraging citizens to support local production.
In addition, selected countries will be invited to participate in the fair, fostering the exchange of experiences, strengthening international cooperation, and opening new avenues for partnerships in governance and development.
SAGO remains a unique platform for government institutions to present their achievements, ongoing projects, and development prospects to the public while promoting closer interaction between the administration and citizens.
