The Minister of Communication, Rene Emmanuel Sadi, has officially handed over audiovisual equipment, acquired by the government for the 2021 Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), to CRTV. The equipment, valued at FCFA 40 billion, includes OB vans, radio and TV studios, and VAR paraphernalia, among others, and was handed over to CRTV Director General, Charles Ndongo, by the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

The Minister of Communication, René Emmanuel Sadi, on November 28 supervised the signing of a public-private partnership deal between the National Printing Press, represented by its Director General, Oyono Bika Nolasque, and the Ivorian Group Impact Palmarès, represented by its President, Giresse Tella, to modernize the national printing house.
The Minister of Communication, René Sadi, successfully defended the ministry’s 2026 budget before the Finance and Budget Committee of the National Assembly on November 28, 2025. The approved budget will support key initiatives, including increasing inclusive media content, strategic communication for social development, and institutional support in the communication sub-sector, as well as promoting Cameroon’s image.

The Minister of Communication, Rene Emmanuel Sadi and his counterpart of Water Resources and Energy, Gaston Eloundou Essomba have clarified the public on the agreement that led to the government’s reacquisition of 51% stake previously held by ACTIS in ENEO’s capital for 78 billion CFA francs, a payment to be made within a 60-day deadline. This move makes the State of Cameroon the main shareholder of that public entity and now controls 95% of the capital. This was during a press conference that was held November 21, 2025.
