2026 National Youth Day: Government–youth interactive exchanges kick off
The Minister of Communication, Government Spokesperson René Emmanuel Sadi, representing the Prime Minister, Head of Government, has officially launched the 7th edition of the traditional interactive exchanges (Hangouts) between Members of Government and the youth.

Le ministre des Finances en visite de travail à Douala
2 jours d’intenses activités pour Louis Paul Motaze, en vue de la sécurité des citoyens. Le ministre des Finances a séjourné à Douala dans le cadre d’une double cérémonie. Celle de l’inauguration de l’immeuble siège du Bureau national de la Carte rose CEMAC, le 3 décembre 2025, et celle de l’installation solennelle du Bureau exécutif de l’Asac, intervenue le lendemain.

Government hands over FCFA 40 billion AFCON Equipment to CRTV
The Minister of Communication, Rene Emmanuel Sadi, has officially handed over audiovisual equipment, acquired by the government for the 2021 Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), to CRTV. The equipment, valued at FCFA 40 billion, includes OB vans, radio and TV studios, and VAR paraphernalia, among others, and was handed over to CRTV Director General, Charles Ndongo, by the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

MINCOM oversees partnership deal between National Printing Press and Ivorian Group Impact Palmarès
The Minister of Communication, René Emmanuel Sadi, on November 28 supervised the signing of a public-private partnership deal between the National Printing Press, represented by its Director General, Oyono Bika Nolasque, and the Ivorian Group Impact Palmarès, represented by its President, Giresse Tella, to modernize the national printing house.

MINCOM’s 2026 budget approved at FRS CFA 8 billion, 237 million
The Minister of Communication, René Sadi, successfully defended the ministry’s 2026 budget before the Finance and Budget Committee of the National Assembly on November 28, 2025. The approved budget will support key initiatives, including increasing inclusive media content, strategic communication for social development, and institutional support in the communication sub-sector, as well as promoting Cameroon’s image.

The Minister of Communication, Rene Emmanuel Sadi and his counterpart of Water Resources and Energy, Gaston Eloundou Essomba have clarified the public on the agreement that led to the government’s reacquisition of 51% stake previously held by ACTIS in ENEO’s capital for 78 billion CFA francs, a payment to be made within a 60-day deadline. This move makes the State of Cameroon the main shareholder of that public entity and now controls 95% of the capital. This was during a press conference that was held November 21, 2025.

MINCOM receives in audience a delegation of journalists from the Cameroon Journalists Trade Union and the International Federation of Journalists.
Minister of Communication, Rene Emmanuel Sadi received a 7-man delegation of journalists on Thursday 21st November,2025. The delegation was headed by Marion Obam, President of the Cameroon Journalists Trade Union, accompanied by Dominique Pradale, President of the International Union of Journalists on an official visit to Cameroon among others. In the close to one hour audience with yhr Government Spokesperson, discussions centered on the challenges of the communication sector, security of journalists, press freedom as well as cooperation between national and international institutions that seeks to promote responsible journalism.
