Government hands over FCFA 40 billion AFCON Equipment to CRTV

The Minister of Communication, Rene Emmanuel Sadi, has officially handed over audiovisual equipment, acquired by the government for the 2021 Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), to CRTV. The equipment, valued at FCFA 40 billion, includes OB vans, radio and TV studios, and VAR paraphernalia, among others, and was handed over to CRTV Director General, Charles Ndongo, by the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

No To Stigmatization Many carriers of COVID-19 and relatives of such patients regard it as a curse. Since the announcement of the first cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) by the government in May 5th 2020, many lives have been lost. The number of infected cases has risen to 2.579. But given the relentless efforts by which the government and health officials are putting to arrest its propagation and kick off the pandemic out of the country, a lot of progress to this effect has been made. Over 1.465 cases have been cured with about 114 deaths as of May 11, 2020.
